RFID solutions designed ans deployed by AIRFIELD
The examples below describe briefly some projects we have done. Airfield created other solutions and worked on other projects that we must keep confidential.

Galvanized steel coils are identified by a disposable RFID tag. They are read while shipment to control products ID. In the same time, a bridge is made between the shipment number and the dock where the load will be made, thanks to the reading of a tag given to the truck driver. |

Traceability of products from the end of production lines, in the stocking area of the factory and at the time of the shipments. The flow is controlled automatically thanks to UHF RFID gates. The exotic flows are managed by PDA. |

Thanks to smart landmarks, the surveyors are now able to let data in the field. Then, those data can be shared by all the professionals. This solution can apply to large sectors of activities which have needs of management of technical team intervention: management of networks water, gas, electricity, telecommunication, pipelines, etc. |

Our client wanted a dynamic management of its stocking area. AIRFELD put a RFID UHF reading system in a vehicle able to load sustain a load of 20 tones. The metal pallets are identified by passive UHF tags. The vehicle is localized by GPS. |

Automatic identification of transported products and geopositioning in the plant. Forklifts able to identify transported products and the places to make automatic transfers. The system reads the completeness of the tags placed on the forks, on 2,7 meter height. The geopositioning is précised up to 1,50 meters. |

Even if each project has not been detailed here above, the technical complexity to achieve operational solutions has been demonstrated. We designed the appropriate solution for each project, thanks to our high knowledge of the market agents and of their products.
This kind of project implies to coordinate many in-house departments of our clients. This point is very important: logistics, IT, marketing, quality, production and general management are involved. AIRFELD takes care of all of these dimensions to bring to a successful conclusion every initiative.
